Hi All,
I was just wondering if anyone either has a cute animal story of their own to share, or if anyone can relate to this.
I have a CockerSpaniel named Sadie. Whenever the radio is on & I sing along, she howls along! It's more of a mix. She does this bark/howl thing. It's the cutest thing in the world, but I've never met another dog who does that! Lol.
I think it's adorable & like I said, was wondering if anyone had cute stories of their own to share, or even if you've encountered this speciffic reaction with your pets.
Another animal story.
Our dog Duke wants to go outside every time anyone else does, or if there's a neighboring dog (who visits regularly). This dog is the tiniest thing, Duke could crush him with one paw! Lol. But they love to play together!
We can't let him out all the time though bc he runs off & you can't always get him back! Lol.
So the other day, there was a rabbit outside. This little rabbit just sat there in the yard staring right at Duke through the door antagonizing him! (Mom told me about it). So she's trying to get the girls to do their homework, & Duke is just going nuts bc this rabbit is torturing him! Lol. So finally, he's jumping at the door, banging on it with his paws & the rabbit stands up, turns around & wiggling it's bottom all the time as if to say hahahaha just hops off! Lol.
He was so mad he started howling at the top of his lungs! Lol.
i think your dog just wants to sing along with you. maybe it's a pack thing, and he hears your singing like howling, and you know how one wolf starts up, and the rest of the wolves follow suit? of course, i'm not casting aspertions on your singing. howlwlwlwlwlwlwlwlwl!
lol I think there was a contestant on Jeopardy once who had a dog that howled to a certain part of the Law and Order theme song.

That's fine. I know you've never heard me sing, so it wouldn't make sense for you to do that.
I do find it amusing anyways, so it works for us. Only thing is I can't sing at night cuz she'll wake mom & Dad! Lol.
Awww!! That's awesome! Yes, we like to howl along to the L&O theme songs to, all 4 of them. There's 2 different ones for LOCI, that's why I say that.
I used to have a Chihuahua who would howl when I played the piano.

we have two cats and a dog. the dog is rather overweight. the cats and her play every morning. they jump back and forth over the couch. she has to run around the end. she an't figure out what they are doing. finally she lays down on the floor and whimpers as if to say "quit!!! Enough already!!"
